"I am connected to the world because of WKMS"
It's Act II of the Spring Fundraiser and Constance Alexander pledges her support to WKMS. Moving from New Jersey to western Kentucky may have been a bit of a culture shock, but WKMS made her feel at home and kept her connected to the world.

"A Review of Jian Ping's Mulberry Child: A Memoir of China"
If you followed this year’s Olympics, you may have heard the stories of Lang Ping – the US Women’s Volleyball Coach, or Liang Chow, a US Gymnastic’s Coach. Both are former Chinese Athletes and both came to America to pursue their careers and dreams. Jian Ping also came to America to pursue her dreams and is now the US National Director of China’s largest brewery, Tsingtao Beer. She’s back in China to support the Olympics and Commentator Constance Alexander reviews her book “Mulberry Child: A Memoir of China.”

"Energy Independence"
Though oil may be in short supply, explanations and opinions regarding the current energy crisis are plentiful. History, politics and economics may tell the long story, but commentator Constance Alexander boils it down to just a phrase.

"A Long Way from St. Lucy"
T.S. Eliot wrote “April is the cruelest month.” …But The Academy of American Poets hopes to prove him wrong yet again. This April marks the 12th Annual National Poetry Month. We celebrate by starting the month with local writer and commentator Constance Alexander and her story about the year she became a poet.
