"Fightin' for the Kentucky Derby"
As we all know, the 2nd attempt to pass expanded gambling legislation in Kentucky made it out of committee only to fall short in the full legislature. Commentator Patience Renzulli is among those disappointed by the measure's failure. She says slots opponents have backed the wrong horse.

"I couldn't believe my ears!"
WKMS has drawn both kinds of reactions, strongly-felt and well-articulated, with programming changes to our weekdays only that increase our news and information services for you.

"I was a poop head before supporting WKMS"
It's Act II of the Spring Fundraiser and Patience Renzulli pledges her support to WKMS. Patience said she was a "poop head" before supporting WKMS. It wasn't until she missed WKMS that she truly realized how important it was to her life. Now, because she supports WKMS, she can hold her head up high (also, because she is no longer poopy).

"Santa's Sigh"
If you’re looking for a warm and fuzzy Christmas present for a loved one, a puppy might not be the best idea. The Humane Society warns “a dog is a precious purchase that will be in someone’s life for an average of 15 years, so it should not be an impulse buy.” Patience Renzulli addresses this issue in a story titled “Santa’s Sigh.”

"Creepy Peeps Online"
All day long people around the world are tweeting their friends, digging their faves, flickering their photos and hot-listing websites they find “delicious.” Patience Renzulli blogs about her dogs on her website and decided to venture into the vast, virtual world of social networking. She made some new friends, but probably not the kind she’ll be inviting to dinner!
