Carrie Pond

Carrie Pond
Reporter

Though Part-Time Staff Reporter Carrie Pond would say she's from "Bourbon Capital of the World" Bardstown, Kentucky, she has also lived in the "Bratwurst Capital of America" and the Great Smoky Mountains. Because of her attraction to all things famous, it is only fitting she would make her way to WKMS. After graduating from Murray State in December 2007 with a double major in English Literature and Spanish, Ms. Pond decided to stay on at the station as she applies for graduate school. Carrie is fluent in Spanish, and has studied in Segovia, Spain and Morelia, Mexico. She loves traveling and reading, believes in the good of humanity, and is an unabashed, wide-eyed optimist.
