Friday Night Live showcases performances recorded live from a host of musical genres. The program includes all the season performances from the PSO, as well as select performances from the Music Department of Murray State University, other performances from MSU's campus and other local and national venues.
Program Director Mark Welch says, "We're fortunate to have exceptional musical performances in our region. We're delighted to offer a showcase for Paducah Symphony concerts, campus recitals, Lovett Live concerts and occasionally network-produced broadcasts during this weekly series."
Friday Night Live airs every Friday from 7-9 p.m. It pre-empts
NPR's World Cafe, which continues to air at the 7 p.m. slot Monday thru Thursday.
