Matt 'McG' Markgraf joined the WKMS News Team in January 2007, while pursuing his bachelor’s degree in theatre at Murray State. Now he's got a master's degree in creative writing and is hard at work on "the next great American novel" - that is - when he’s not designing and updating the web site, producing commentaries and mixing up some Weekend Energy. Matt enjoys all kinds of music, but has a fondness for wicked beats. He’s at the station throughout the day and sometimes late at night working during the informative bliss of BBC World Service. In March 2011, he was named New Media & Promotions Coordinator for WKMS.
