Hopkinsville, KY – Kentucky State Police say a Christian County woman has died after falling from a cliff. Police say 21-year-old Amanda Grant fell 75 feet last night from a cliff near the Todd-Christian county line just after 11 p-m. Grant was with two men at the time of her fall. She was transported to Jennie Stuart Hospital in Hopkinsville, but died early this morning from her injuries. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday. Police will continue their investigation, but say no foul play is suspected.
Richmond, KY – Spring is one of the toughest seasons for Kentucky's asthma sufferers, especially children. University of Kentucky Pediatrician Jamshed Kanga says Asthma is a serious threat.
"People don't take Asthma as seriously as they should and we don't realize that a lot of children are seen in the ER and are hospitalized for Asthma. And I think that it is important for people to realize that this is a seriously problem and patients should receive treatment and care."
