Ft. Campbell Soldiers Homeward Bound

Ft. Campbell, KY – The first of several return flights of Fort Campbell soldiers is scheduled to land at the base on the Kentucky-Tennessee border. An advance group of 160 soldiers, known as a "torch party," will be arriving this afternoon from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division. The unit has been on a 15-month deployment to Iraq. The Army has not announced when the remaining soldiers are expected to arrive, but torch parties generally arrive several weeks in advance of the main redeployment.

Trigg Murder Suspect Lived Near Victims

Cadiz, KY – Kentucky State Police say the man charged with three counts of capital murder in Trigg County once lived near the victims. Trooper Dean Patterson says 36-year-old Kevin Wayne Dunlap of Hopkinsville once lived "down the road" from the home where two teen sisters and their brother were slain last week.
