Governor Matt Bevin is holding a set of community forums in west Kentucky next week.

Bevin is visiting Muhlenberg County on Monday to discuss economic development and other initiatives.

Cabinet secretaries are also attending the event. The forum is 6:30 p.m. at the Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center in Greenville.

At the forum on Tuesday in Paducah, Bevin will be joined by Secretary of Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet Don Parkinson as well as other officials. They are expected to announce a partnership that "will create a market-driven solution" for addressing the Asian Carp issue in the region's waterways.

The Paducah event begins at 1:30 p.m. at the West Kentucky Community and Technical College Emerging Technology Center, Room 109.

Bevin discussed at a recent forum in Ballard County economic development in the region, the future of the pension overhaul and the 2019 gubernatorial election.
