College Students Participate in Mock Election
By Chad Lampe
Murray, KY – If this year's election were held today, Kentucky college students would choose to split their ballot and elect the Democratic Obama/Biden Ticket for President and re-elect Senator Mitch McConnell over Democrat Bruce Lunsford. The Secretary of State's office sponsors the mock election as part of the Civic Literacy Initiative of Kentucky and Kentucky Civics Month. More than 21-hundred students voted at 12 Kentucky Universities. Murray State Students followed suit with the rest of the state and elected the Obama/Biden Ticket and reelected Senator Mitch McConnell
