Dee Daniels
By Kate Lochte
Murray, KY – Music reviewers say West Coast jazz artist Dee Daniels almost channels Ray Charles when she sings his trademark songs. She performs a tribute to Mr. Charles at the Carson Center Saturday 9/15 for the Paducah Symphony's first Pops Concert of the new season. You can read about her path to jazz at www.deedaniels.com, including a European tour that brought her to the attention of Toots Thielmans, Joe Williams and Sarah Vaughan. Kate Lochte asked the artist more about "Jazzinit," her brand new release.
