Elizabethtown Native Nominated for Tony Award
By AP
A Kentucky native will be on the edge of his seat when the Tony Awards are given out on Sunday. Darron West of Elizabethtown is nominated for best sound design or his work with the play "Peter and the Starcatcher."
The play has been nominated for nine Tony Awards. West told The News-Enterprise the nomination is "a little mind-blowing." West's work on "Peter and the Starcatcher" was finished long ago and he's since moved on to other projects. Now he's checking off lists of things he has to do leading up to the red carpet.
