Gold Star Quilts

Murray, KY – A quilt is more than a piece of art, or even an heirloom. In western Kentucky, quilting is an integral part of the region's culture and even its economy. Still, one woman in western Kentucky uses her skills and talents to give it even more significance. Todd Hatton has this story of quilting for comfort, and a Gold Star Mother who received one after her son was killed in Iraq.
