Gov. Bevin Appoints Eric Fletcher Crigler to Murray State Board of Regents

  Governor Matt Bevin has appointed a Germantown, Tennessee financial services industry veteran as the next member of the Murray State University Board of Regents. The appointment of Eric Fletcher Crigler  fills the final vacancy on the board. According to a release from Bevin’s office, Crigler graduated from Murray State with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

In the release Crigler stated, “I will always be thankful for the role that Murray State University played in my personal and professional development.”  “I am excited by the opportunity to serve this wonderful university as a member of the Board of Regents,” said Crigler.

He played football for MSU and also played professionally for the Cincinatti Bengals in 1990 and 1991. According to Crigler’s Linkedin page, he is the founder of Mt. Moriah Partners investment firm.

Crigler will be sworn in at a special called meeting Tuesday as the board plans to appoint an interim president.
