GPS Adventure
By Angela Hatton
Murray, KY – Kentucky's Office of Adventure Tourism is opening up state trail information to a major maker of global positioning system equipment. The data will go to Garmin International which makes GPS units for recreational, marine, and automotive use. Lieutenant Governor Dan Mongiardo hopes the move will boost adventure tourism and allow thousands of potential visitors to access information about Kentucky's parks and trails.
