Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet Secretary Hal Heiner is speaking about education policy at Murray State University this afternoon.
Heiner is the featured speaker for the College of Education and Human Services annual Harry M. Sparks Distinguished Lecture Series. He is expected to address the future of education policy in the commonwealth.
State officials have been touring Kentucky promoting apprenticeship programs geared towards advancing STEM education and a new accountability system to measure student proficiency.
