Inmate Captured After Fulton Co. Detention Center Escape

Kentucky State Police have apprehended an inmate who escaped this morning from the Fulton County Detention Center.

34-year-old Timothy Richardson escaped during work release at around 3:55 a.m. and was considered dangerous. He remained at large until this afternoon and was captured in Mayfield.

Kentucky State Police used stop sticks to deflate the tires on Richardson's car after pursuing him down Purchase Parkway from Fulton.

Richardson was originally convicted of first-degree wanton endangerment on a police officer, auto theft, fleeing and evading and multiple drug charges. He is now being charged with additional crimes including theft by unlawful taking and escape in the second degree.
