53 pounds in crystal methamphetamine is now in the hands of Kentucky law enforcement after a three month investigation.
On Friday multiple agencies including the Kentucky State police, DEA and the ATF executed a search warrant at the home of John Slingland and Abbie Jones in southern Graves County. Slingland and Jones were taken into custody and approximately two pounds of crystal methamphetamine, more than five pounds of marijuana, 25 firearms and over $50,000 in U.S. Currency was seized.
Agents then went to a stash house in Northwest Tennessee and seized an additional fifty-one pounds of Crystal Meth.
Kentucky State Police then obtained a search warrant for Richard Omar’s residence in Clinton, Kentucky. They found $38,000, over five pounds of marijuana, 16 firearms, and more Crystal Meth.
The meth seized in this case has an estimated street value of than two million dollars.
Other participating law enforcement agencies include the Graves County Sheriff’s Department, McCracken County Sheriff’s Office and Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.

Abbie G. Jones, 53, of Water Valley, Ky.
Charges: Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Trafficking Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia
John C. Slingland, 69, of Water Valley, Ky.
Federal Charges: Possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to distribute
Jamie Readnour, 34, of Wingo, Ky.
Charges: DUI, Possession of Meth and drug paraphernalia
Richard Omar, 55, of Fulgham, Ky.
Charges: Trafficking marijuana, possession of Methamphetamine and possession of handgun/firearm by a convicted felon
Jeffery Creason, 50,of Fulgham, Ky.
Charges: Trafficking marijuana, possession of Methamphetamine and possession of handgun/firearm by a convicted felon
