Kenlake State Resort Park has a new manager.
Kentucky State Parks Commissioner Elaine Walker has tapped Somerset native Joe Mounce for the position.
Mounce most recently worked as Lake Cumberland State Resort Park’s business manager. Shanna Spurlock had served as acting manager until Mounce took over July 16.
Kenlake is also preparing to host the 24th annual Hot August Blues Festival August 23 and 24.
