Kentucky’s new website for Medicaid and welfare recipients has launched.
Benefindincludes applications and account management for programs including Medicaid, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and KTAP (Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program).
The site serves as Gov. Matt Bevin’sintended successor to the kynect healthcare exchange. Bevin has pledged to dismantle that program by the end of this year.
Customers can apply online, by phone or by paper application submitted to their local Department for Community Based Services office.
