KSP Starting "Cram the Cruiser" Food Drive
Kentucky State Police are again hoping to fill up their cruisers with food for needy families. All 16 state police posts throughout Kentucky and state police headquarters in Frankfort will be collecting nonperishable food items through December 14th.
Last year, state police collected more than 25 tons of food in the "Cram the Cruiser" food drive. The agency suggests donations of canned fruit and vegetables, macaroni and cheese, cereal, water, powdered milk and juices. The two western Kentucky locations are Post 1 in Mayfield, and Post 2 in Madisonville.
