The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education's Presidential Search Committee is meeting next week.
The council will meet Oct. 3 and 4 in Hebron, Ky. Former President Robert King announced plans to retire in June after nine years in the position. The Trump administration in August nominated King to serve as assistant secretary for postsecondary education at the Department of Education.
The council has said it hopes to name its fourth president by November.
