Law enforcement agencies have obtained indictments for 27 people in connection to a large drug operation in the Clarksville area.

The investigation into the drug ring began in April 2012.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation worked in conjunction with US Marshals, DEA Task Force, Montgomery County Sheriffs and Clarksville PD to arrest 16 people yesterday.

They’ve also issued warrants for 11 others yet to be located.

TBI Spokesman Josh Devine says authorities seized more than three kilograms of cocaine, five firearms, several ounces of marijuana, eight vehicles and more than $30,000 in cash.

The 16 people arrested have been booked in Montgomery County Jail on a variety of bond amounts.
