Madisonville Bicentennial

Murray, KY – This Saturday, the city of Madisonville begins a year-long celebration marking 200 years as a western Kentucky community. The bicentennial kicks off with a Gala Premier of the documentary, "My Kentucky Home - Madisonville, Kentucky" at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts. Bryan Bartlett Recently spoke with Keith Cartwright, chairperson of the Madisonville Bicentennial Commission, about the festivities and the genesis of the town's slogan, "The Best Town on Earth."
