By Casey Northcutt
Metropolis, IL – The promise of new jobs is on the horizon in Metropolis Illinois. Construction is expected to begin soon on a 10-year project for a new port and transportation hub along the Massac County riverfront. Mayor Billy McDaniel says the city recently struck a 60- million dollar deal with private investment firm, Vieste LLC.
