MSU Finishes Undefeated Road Season

The number 14 ranked Murray State Racers wrapped up an undefeated road season with a 69 to 64 victory over Tennessee Tech Saturday night.  This brings the OVC Champion Racers to 28 and 1 overall and sets them as the top seed in the conference tournament this week.  MSU will get a bye to the semifinal game this Friday at 6 p.m. at Nashville, Tennessee’s Municipal Auditorium.  In other OVC men’s basketball action, UT Martin fell to Jacksonville State 77 to 46, Eastern Kentucky beat Eastern Illinois 86 to 74, Morehead defeated SIU Edwardsville 76 to 61, and Austin Peay won out over Southeast Missouri 68 to 59.
