MSU Presidential Search Committee Readies for Applications

The Murray State University presidential search committee will begin receiving applications in the next few days, ahead of an early December meeting where the pool of candidates will be whittled down to around a dozen.

The committee will then interview those candidates in mid-January, and select a handful of finalists in February.

Consultant firm Witt/Kieffer has sent word to the committee that they have received enthusiasm from “many excellent applicants” in the search to replace former MSU president Randy Dunn.

The MSU Board of Regents will decide which finalist will get the job at their quarterly meeting in March.
