The Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Murray State University's Town & Gown program to host a political forum involving local candidates next week.
The 'Meet the Candidates' forum is in Lovett Auditorium on October 16th. The forum begins with a reception and meet-and-greet at 6 p.m. and from 6:30 to 8 p.m, the forum will allow attendees to ask questions of the candidates in attendance.
Admission is free.
Candidates in the Murray mayoral race, the Calloway County judge/executive race and the District 5 state representative race will participate.
