Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce Named National ‘Chamber of the Year’ Finalist

The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce is one of three national finalists in a 2017 Chamber of the Year Award category. 

The Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives named the finalists on Tuesday.

Paducah is in Category Two along with chambers in Kalispell, Montana and Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

According to the ACCE website the award recognizes excellence in operations, member services and community leadership.

A judging committee will interview chamber representatives in the final phase. Winners will be named at the ACCE conference in Nashville on July 18.

Bowling Green’s chamber is a finalist in Category Three.

The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce was one of the Chamber of the Year winners in 2011.

Matt Markgraf joined the WKMS team as a student in January 2007. He's served in a variety of roles over the years: as News Director March 2016-September 2019 and previously as the New Media & Promotions Coordinator beginning in 2011. Prior to that, he was a graduate and undergraduate assistant. He is currently the host of the international music show Imported on Sunday nights at 10 p.m.
