Raney Files as Write-In for Paducah Mayor's Seat

A Paducah woman has filed as a write-in candidate for the city’s mayoral race. Renee Raney filed her candidacy with the McCracken County Clerk’s office yesterday. Raney’s name will not appear on the ballot, but her write-in votes may be counted. Mayoral candidate Robert Coleman announced he would drop out last week due to health concerns, leaving Gayle Kaler running unopposed.

Raney is the only person to file as a write-in candidate so far. The deadline to do so is October 26.
