Services Still Available for Marshall Co. Community Following Shooting

The counseling center that opened in Marshall County following the high school shooting last week is closing, though other services remain available. 

The counseling center at the Old Pepsi Plant in Benton is closing Friday at 6. The Family Resource Center at the Marshall County Extension Office in Benton has closed.

Services still available include the Four Rivers Behavioral Health 24/7 Crisis Line, the Mountain Comprehensive Care Mental Health Outpatient Clinic in Draffenville and the Child Watch Counseling and Advocacy Center of Paducah.

Per Marshall County Emergency Management Director Curt Curtner:

  • Four Rivers Behavioral Health 24/7 Crisis Line 1-800-592-3980
  • Mountain Comprehensive Care, Mental Health Outpatient Clinic, at 145 Vine Street in Draffenville will be open Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm.  Call 270-252-9432 for information or an appointment.
  • Child Watch Counseling and Advocacy Center of Paducah can be reached at 270-443-1440.  Call for more information, they offer free counseling services for children.
