Sounds... Spooky? Halloween Programming on WKMS!

Boo! We've got a bounty of spooky, Halloween treats on our local music programming this weekend! See this year's scary schedule!

Friday, October 28

Left of the Dial- 9 p.m.

Host John Null provides seasonally-appropriate music for the 2nd annual Halloween episode from Misfits, The Cramps, Morrissey, Sonic Youth and Bauhaus. You'll also hear selections from soundtracks like The Return of the Living DeadFright Night and Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

The Last Splash- 11 p.m.

The guys will celebrate the spookiest time of year, along with the one year anniversary of the show's premiere with tracks from Dead Moon, Peach Kelli Pop, Jesus and Mary Chain, Terry, Slug Guts, Danzig, The Cars, Wilco and many more. 

Saturday, October 29

Rick's Kitchen Sink- 1 p.m.

Hear songs about Witchcraft, Voodoo, Mojo and more... Music by Black Sabbath, Brown Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Siouxsie and The Banshees and others.

Beyond The Edge- 9 p.m.

Host Tracy Ross will have spooky and scary tunes from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Eels, Beck, The Decemberists and others.

Weekend Energy- 11 p.m.

It's a two-hour treacherous and terrifyingly delightful Weekend Energy Halloween Special featuring vampires, skeletons, ghosts, zombies, demons and much more!

Sunday, October 30

Eisenhower Hour- 1 p.m.

Dr. Bob has some special spooky sounds for Halloween. You'll hear about purple people eaters, witch doctors, black magic, and some guy named Screamin' Jay.    

Monday, October 31 HALLOWEEN!

Sounds Good- 11 a.m.

Tracy Ross will get you ready for trick-or-treating with music from William Bell, Donovan, Talking Heads, The Decemberists and many others.
