Telethon Moved Amid Inn Uncertainty

Paducah, KY – Following continuing uncertainty surrounding Paducah's Executive Inn, organizers of the 52nd annual Lions Club-WPSD-TV Telethon of Stars have moved the event to the Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center. The show's executive producer Bob Crosno tells the Paducah Sun thought city officials have kept them in the loop, organizers opted to move from the hotel because the day of the event is fast approaching. The telethon is scheduled for November 8 and 9. The sale of the Executive Inn to developers Bill Parsons and Tom Green remains on hold.
