Here's a preview of our featured guests on Sounds Good, December 7 through December 11. We're pleased to bring more holiday specials in the second hour of the program this week, beginning with Hanukkah Lights 2015. Monday

Wednesday

Puppies Sound Good! We'll meet a featured adoptable puppy from the Humane Society of Calloway County, and speak with Kathy Hodge about upcoming events.

Holiday Special: Holidays at MSU 2015 - The Murray State Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Jazz Orchestra and faculty soloists are featured in this annual special produced for KET and carried by public television stations nationwide. 

Thursday

Cindy Earls previews the event "Civil War Comes to the Homeplace" at Land Between the Lakes this weekend, on demonstrations and activities, what life was like for regional farm families during this time period and how trade was effected by the war.

Holiday Special: Tinsel Tales - Out of the archives, it’s the original Tinsel Tales with David Sedaris, Bailey White, John Henry Faulk and other NPR voices, telling stories of the season.

Friday

George Eldred speaks with Paducah Symphony Orchestra Maestro Raffaele Ponti about their performance Saturday of the popular "A Christmas Celebration," featuring PSO Choruses and the MSU Concert Choir.

Matt Markgraf joined the WKMS team as a student in January 2007. He's served in a variety of roles over the years: as News Director March 2016-September 2019 and previously as the New Media & Promotions Coordinator beginning in 2011. Prior to that, he was a graduate and undergraduate assistant. He is currently the host of the international music show Imported on Sunday nights at 10 p.m.
