Tobacco to Wine

But with the tobacco market shrinking and years after the government discontinued subsidies for growing it, small farmers are looking to diversify. And some of them have turned to wine. Rotary Antique Quilt Show and Sale

Napoleon's armies occupied Vienna in 1805 and 1809. Haydn wrote his Mass in Time of War in 1796 when Austria was mobilizing its troops during a peace accord that didn't hold. Several choruses perform the Mass with the Paducah Symphony Orchestra in the final concert of their classical season this Saturday at 7:30pm at The Carson Center. Ullerich on Master Gardener Sale

As digging in the dirt time intensifies, area gardeners can buy plants tested for this area from master gardeners this Saturday (4/19) in Paducah.

The Paducah Area Master Gardeners Association (PAMGA) has its annual spring plant sale at its demonstration garen on Coleman Road in Paducah on Saturday from 9 to noon. Attorney, Carole Ullerich is the spokesperson for PAMGA and a master gardener involved in the sale and speaks with Kate Lochte about the upcoming event.
