KCTCS Tuition Impact

The Council on Postsecondary Education is recommending the Kentucky Community and Technical College System reduce its proposed tuition increase from 13 percent to 5.2 percent. As a result, local community college presidents are bracing for a possible 11 million dollar system-wide cut. Angela Hatton has more.

Graves County Teacher to Restore
the old Hickory Colored School

Graves County School's gifted and talented teacher and program coordinator Debbie Smith's students and she are celebrating a $50,000 grant that will start work restoring the old Hickory Colored School, a Rosenwald project to serve as a museum and learning center.
