12 years after we began talking about providing a better signal for Madisonville, we've received the construction permit for a repeater service that will be stronger than translator 105.1. WKMS has also received permission to establish a new repeater service for Martin and Union City, TN and to improve the signal for Fulton, KY. This new signal will serve listeners who used to get public radio from WKNO-Memphis from its Dyersburg repeater that is no longer in service.
