Membership
By
making an annual contribution to WKMS, you become a member of
your public radio station. You will help maintain your favorite
programs and receive other benefits for contributing to WKMS.
Program
underwriting on 91.3 WKMS enables you to build community awareness
of your business' products or services with one of the Four
Rivers Regions's most affluent audiences. These well-educated,
discerning consumers are often hard to reach.

volunteering during our Spring or Fall Fundraiser, you can help
your public radio station, WKMS, in rewarding and new ways!.

and entertain future generations by including WKMS in your Will
or through other planned giving vehicles.
As
a non-profit public radio station, WKMS depends on direct local
financial support to pay for our broadcast operations including
the creation of locally produced shows and the acquisition of
national and internationl programs. We depend on several sources
of funding: listeners and businesses within our broadcast community,
Murray State University,
and the the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

Mission Statement: WKMS broadcasts National
Public Radio and local programs that inform enrich, and entertain
in concert with the mission of Murray State University. WKMS
skilled staff, students and volunteers serve listeners with
comprehensive music and information programs that reflect current
affairs, history and cultures.
