Cumberland River Bridge Lane Restriction

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is restricting traffic on the Cumberland River Bridge at Lake City next Monday to allow a bridge inspection.

Expect one-lane traffic from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Inspectors will attempt to complete their work before the afternoon commute since the bridge is an alternate route to the I-24 work zone. KYTC expects the inspection to take three to four days.

Lane Restriction on Little River Bridge

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is restricting traffic to one lane on the Kentucky 274/Rockcastle Road Little River Bridge starting Friday. The restriction is to allow workers to clean and paint the bridge. An automated signal will control one-lane traffic as work starts over the weekend.

Eggners Ferry Bridge Lane Restriction Set for Dec. 11-12

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on the US 68/KY 80 Eggners Ferry Bridge on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

This lane restriction is to allow deck repairs to better prepare the bridge for winter driving weather.  This work zone will include an 8 ft. maximum load width.

Lane Restriction on I-24 in McCracken County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on Interstate 24 in McCracken County tomorrow.

This lane restriction for westbound traffic between Exit 4 and Exit 3 is to allow the repair of a number of washouts along the right of way.

Barkley Bridge Lights Out

An electrical crew is checking navigational lights on the Lake Barkley Bridge at Canton this morning after the lights were reported to be out Tuesday.  Commercial traffic in the area was alerted after the outage was called in to the U.S. Coast Guard.
