Construction Begins on Murray State Paducah Campus

Foundation work is underway on the new Murray State Paducah Campus located off I-24 at Exit 7. A&K Construction won an $8 million contract to start work on the project. The new building replaces the current MSU Paducah campus in the Crisp Center.  Paducah, McCracken County, and Murray State University will all jointly pay for the project. Officials expect to offer classes at the new the campus by January 2014.

MSU Paducah Campus Building Construction Could Begin Soon

Murray State University expects to officially award a building contract for the Paducah campus by the end of the week. A&K Construction of Paducah won the bid with a $8,066,200 total bid. MSU Facilities, Design and Construction Assistant Director David Brickeen says A&K will have one year from the contract approval date to complete the Paducah site.

Groundbreaking For New MSU Paducah Campus

Murray State University breaks ground for its new Paducah campus today.  MSU President Dr. Randy Dunn and area dignitaries will be on hand for this afternoon’s ceremony at 3:30 at the Barkley Woods property.
