Dunn Finalist for Illinois State University Presidency

Murray State University President Randy Dunn is among four finalists for Illinois State University's Presidency. Dunn was named as a finalist for Ohio's Youngstown State University yesterday. Dunn has been searching for a new job consistently for the last year in anticipation of the Board of Regents not renewing his contract. MSU's board of regents voted 7 to 4 against renewing Dunn's contract on March 15th.

Kentucky Attorney General Opinion: MSU Board of Regents Violated KY Open Meetings Law

Kentucky’s Attorney General says the Murray State Board of Regents violated Kentucky’s open meetings law when a quorum of the board attended a social gathering at the home of Regent Sharon Green on March 14th. Lexington Attorney Jim Deckard sought the opinion after board Chairman Constantine Curris, through an attorney, denied allegations of an illegal meeting.

Dunn Challenges Ad Hoc Contract Review Committee Draft Report

Murray State University President Randy Dunn, in an open forum Tuesday, presented counterpoints to a report used to assess university progress during his time as president.  On April 2nd  Board of Regents Chairman Constantine Curris defended that same report to a group of faculty and staff.

MSU President Finalist at Youngstown State

An Ohio newspaper reports Murray State University President Randy Dunn  is among three finalists to be Youngstown State University’s next president. The Vindicator reports Dunn  was among eight semifinalists interviewed this weekend.  Dunn’s current contract at Murray State ends June 2014.
