USEC Inc. is among leaders in producing enriched uranium fuel for commercial nuclear power plants. USEC supplies more than half of the U.S. enrichment market and a quarter of the world market. The company’s Paducah plant is the only U.S.-owned uranium enrichment facility in the United States and provides jobs for 1,200 employees.
