Murray, KY – As power restoration efforts continue for the second week, and nighttime temperatures remain well below freezing. Many West Kentucky residents have left their own resources behind to stay warm in shelters across the region. (Begin Ambience) About 50 people have taken refuge at the West Paducah Armory. April Clapp and her daughter Ashley sit among a room full of cots, their bedroom for the last week. Clapp, now 6 months pregnant, spoke with Community Correspondent J.J. Leatherman about her experience.
