Wickliffe, Ky – The National Weather Service reports communities on both sides of the Ohio River north of their gauge in Grand Chain, Illinois are facing moderate flooding and may go higher. Downstream, where the Ohio flows into the Mississippi, residents along the river have been dealing with major flooding since April 24th. While places like Paducah and Smithland, Kentucky will deal with catastrophic flooding as the waters rise, they will fall just short of their record highs. Wickliffe, Kentucky overlooks the Mississippi just downstream of Cairo, Illinois. They're bracing for water levels higher than any previously recorded. Todd Hatton speaks with two residents who are keeping a close eye as the Father of Waters pays a visit.
