Murray, KY – A creation of Nashvillian John Jones, an Ecclesiaudio program, called Sounds for Sacred Spaces, involved west Kentucky musicians in Paducah this summer and tonight, in Murray at the First Presbyterian Church at 1601 Main. Along with a Persian flutist, vocalists, and a violinist from Nashville, tonight's program again includes Danny Granstaff and Dean Hughes of Princeton, who comprise the duo "Like Water" and, for the first time, Murrayans Kala Dunn, flute and voice and Todd Hill, keyboards. Kate Lochte spoke with Danny Granstaff about this evening's program.
Come and go as you wish for Ecclesiaudio, a spontaneous, musical, spoken word program called Sounds for Sacred Spaces, tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church at the corner of 16th and Main in Murray. Danny Granstaff is the multi-instrumentalist, vocal half of the duo "Like Water" with percussion master Dean Hughes, part of the multi-performer experience.
