Killer Rabbits, Cows and French People in Playhouse in the Park's Spamalot

"Lovingly ripped off" from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the musical Spamalot has fun with the legend of King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table - complete with cows, killer rabbits, Knights who say "Ni," beautiful show girls and French people. Tracy Ross is joined by Jeff Miller (King Arthur) and Joanne Robertson (Lady of the Lake) for a preview of the Playhouse in the Park Production.

The leading actors of Spamalot stop in to talk to Tracy about the show that's opening this weekend. Spamalot is basically Monty Python and the Holy Grail brought to life with some musical numbers thrown in to the mix. Jeff Miller regretfully relays that not all of the iconic scenes from the movie make it to the stage, but assures that the musical will not disappoint.

"Most of the things that are iconic in the film version are in this play, PLUS a tremendous amount of music... It's just a laughing riot from the very beginning."

Spamalot runs February 7 through February 23 at Murray's Playhouse in the Park. The Broadway production won three Tony Awards, including "Best Musical," and received 14 Tony Award nominations.
