Kentucky Police Launch Campaign Targeting Aggressive Drivers

Kentucky State Police

Police are looking for aggressive drivers in Kentucky over the next three weeks.

Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division announced on Tuesday the launch of the Ticketing Aggressive Cars and Trucks Campaign. The agency says officers will target drivers of passenger and commercial vehicles who exhibit dangerous behaviors such as improper lanes changes, following too closely and speeding. Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division Director Major Nathan Day said aggressive driving is any willful action by a driver that places another person in danger without regard to safety. He says the best defense against an aggressive driver is a seat belt and patience.
