Following Murray State Provost Dr. Jay Morgan’s appointment to a position with the Council on Postsecondary Education, MSU President Dr. Bob Davies has tapped Dr. Tim Todd to replace Morgan on an interim basis, beginning July 1st.
Dr. Todd joined the Murray State faculty in 1995, rising to Assistant Provost in 1998 and Associate Provost in 2002. Since 2006, Todd has served as dean of MSU’s Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business.
President Davies says he has found Dr. Todd to be “stalwart advocate for Murray State, our faculty, staff and students, as well as the community.” Davies says Todd will soon announce an interim dean of the Bauernfeind College of Business, and that he will begin assembling a search committee for a permanent Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs this summer with a national search to begin in the fall.
