Governor Matt Bevin appoints Greg Thomas as Secretary of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. Thomas was named deputy secretary in February and acting secretary in early March upon the resignation of secretary Mike Hancock.
Thomas previously served as vice president of electric distribution for utilities company LG&E and KU Energy. In a news release, Bevin praised Thomas’ “expertise in engineering and budget management” and ability to provide a strategic vision for the KYTC.
