Contractors with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet are planning lane restrictions on Murray’s N. 12th St./US 641 Tuesday night.
An engineering survey team is checking traffic signal sensor loops at various intersections. The surveying is in preparation for road re-paving that will occur sometime next month.
Between 9 P.M. Tuesday and 6 A.M. Wednesday, drivers on highway 641 through Murray should be prepared to encounter one lane traffic between Sycamore Street up to Coldwater Road at Roy Steward Stadium.
Should the survey crew determine the need, additional lane restrictions may be required on Wednesday night to prep for paving planned sometime during September.
