Republican Kentucky State Sen. Whitney Westerfield has named a former US Marine Sergeant manager of his 2019 campaign for state attorney general.
Joe Fryman oversaw Congressman Andy Barr’s campaign in 2016. He also led recruitment efforts for the Republican Party of Kentucky and managed the organization’s 2016 presidential caucus operations in 51 counties.
Fryman has also served as the program director for the Kentucky Communications Network Authority and their KentuckyWired initiative. Westerfield said he couldn’t find a better person to help him “launch this fight for conservative reform.”
Fryman served in the Marine Corps from 2008 until 2014 as a non-commissioned officer.
CORRECTION: WKMS incorrectly reported that Fryman is the program director for Kentucky Wired, in fact he has been separated from that organization for around a month according to the organization.
